You travel by car through the mountainous country of Kyrgyzstan, where you will see a lot of variety of landscapes. Not only the size of the mountains, but also the colors, shapes and different vegetation’s give beautiful images. There are everlasting snow on different mountain tops, and there are glaciers.
The nomads still travel through the mountains with their cattle in the summer and spend the night in yurts. You will see with your own eyes the way of living and their hospitality.
The tour begins in Bishkek and goes along the lakes Issyk Kul and Son Kul. During this trip you drive across different mountain passes with breathtaking views. The yurt camp at the Son-Kul mountain lake is at an altitude of 3000m. This lake is the second largest mountain lake in Kyrgyzstan. On the tour their will be day trips of walking and horse riding to all the beautiful places, where no cars come. Here you can relax and enjoy nature. The bright nights produce glorious stars, which are many times brighter than in Europe.

Day 1

Arrival Bishkek, transfer to the hotel. Here you can rest and have breakfast. Later you have a sightseeing tour in Bishkek. You visit the Ala Too square, the historical museum, Oak Park and the Osh bazaar
Day 2
♦ 400 km ♦ 5 h ♦ guesthouse Riverside Karakol
You drive today through the 40 km long boom canyon, leading to Issyk Kul lake. It is the second largest mountain lake in the world, located at 1600m, where the Kyrgyz people are very proud of. The route goes along the north side of the lake to Karakol city. Arrived in Karakol, located at 1700 m, you will visit the old Dungan Mosque, the Russian Orthodox Church and the bazaar
Day 3

You drive today with an old Russian jeep over a bad road to Altyn Arashan (2500 m). Here you can take a walk and take a bath in one of the hot springs. In the afternoon it goes back to the guesthouse.
Day 4
♦ 160 km ♦ 3 h ♦ yurt camp Tort Kul
The yurt camp Tort Kul, located at 1700 m altitude, on the south side of Issyk Kul lake, is the next destination. On the way you will visit the red canyon Jeti Oguz and Skazka, the fairy tale, consisting of red and yellow sandstone, where you can use your fantasy.
Day 5

Today you go horse riding on the summer pasture, located on the highlands between the mountains. There will be no trees, but enough edelweiss. A lovely area to ride, you will encounter shepherds who spend the summer here with their sheep, cows and horses. Lunch will be a delicious picnic on the summer pasture, where you can enjoy the fresh mountain air and panoramic views.
Day 6

The trip continues to Tash Rabat, an old caravanserai near the Chinese border. On the way you visit the ancient ruins of Koshoj Korgon, where they have a small museum with the history of the ruin.
Day 7

You have today a relax walk in the Kara Kojun valley or climb some mountains and enjoy panoramic views.
Day 8
♦ 180 km ♦ 5 h ♦ yurt camp Kel Suu
The journey continues to Kel Suu, a fantastic mountain lake located 3514 m between rough high mountains, next to the Chinese border. The length is 9 km long and the maximum width is 2 km, surrounded by various caves and pits.
Day 9

You will have a walk to the lake surrounded by steep mountain walls, on the way you have a delicious picnic.
Day 10
♦ 150 km ♦ 6 h ♦ yurt camp Son Kul
The Son Kul lake is located on a 3016 meter plateau located between 4000 meters high mountains where you will spend the night. The road leads over the MoldoAshuumountain pass (3250m). In the summer months the shepherds stay here with their horses, sheep and yaks. Their Kymys (Merriemilk) is known as one of the best of Kyrgyzstan
Day 11

Today you drive to Chon Kemin, a national park located between 4000m high mountains. The very green and flowery valley located along the Chon Kemin River is a fantastic area.
Day 12

A local guide guides you today with horses through the Chon Kemin National Park. The densely wooded hills are full of plants and flowers reaching heights of 2m. The ride gives you breathtaking views, and fresh air.
Day 13

The trip goes back to Bishkek, on the way you visit the Burana Tower, an old minaret from the 9th to 11th century. Here is also a Turkish cemetery with all graceful tombstones, bali ball called, an impressive sight, also the small museum with archaeological finds is a visit worth
